i took it apart and noticed a rubber plug like gasket inside the nut that looked a little worn. i cleaned it all up and snugged it all back together. seemed to make it worse. ill try what you posted and see how that does.
thats what i thought it was but seeping out of the top of that flare fitting is an oil like fluid. just wanted to make sure i wasnt missing something. i have to do some inspecting that its not coming from somewhere else.
I've got a 2003 3.0 mercruiser that's got an oil leak around the fitting i have circled. needing info on the name of that part and what that tube is? should i replace the whole tube or just the fitting? the picture i s just for reference
