I have a 5.7 gxi that will not stop running rough at idle. It runs rich. Vibration in lower rpm range. And when you hammer the throttle down, the rpms die before coming back up. Getting on plane takes longer than it used to.

Is the seal strip for attaching the outer transom shield to the boat? I was thinking it was a gasket... but can not find any other use for the seal strip in Volvo’s seal kit.
