    Evinrude carburetor needles

    I just installed a carb kit on my 1968 Evinrude 3hp Yachtwin. I failed to check the needle adjustment for both high and low speed needles before disassembly. Is there somebody out there who knows the sweet spots for this carb???Thanks in advance.:confused:

    5.5 fisherman spark plugs

    I recently acquired an old 1964 5.5 evimrude fisherman. I want to replace the spark plugs and the ones that came out of it were champion J4J. On the link I found on this site about tune-up for this motor, they recommend champion J6C. Are these plugs interchangeable?

    tell tale on 3hp evinrude

    I have a 1968 3hp evinrude yachtwin. I cant see a tell tale while the motor is running, there is a spray of water being expelled with exhaust gases though. Does this motor have no pee hole, or is my water pump/impeller broken? Thanks in advance.:cool:

    evinrude ID...HELP

    I just aquired two evinrude motors and don't know anything about them, please help! The first one is serial#5403-B C413973, I think it's a 5.5, not sure. The second one is older, and is serial# 4423-56789. Any info like hp, mix ratio, etc. would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.:cool:
