I am replacing a 1992 Force 70hp with a 1989 Suzuki 115 it’s a pontoon boat. Will the steering or throttle controls interchange? The Suzuki came off bass boat so the controls are not long enough.
Is there another location for the vin number other than the sticker tag on the lower unit? Can’t make out the last 2 numbers and need to get titled in a different state.
Does anyone know a part number/manufacturer number for the oem force trim motor? I know someone other than force/Mercury made the electric trim motor. Can’t find a number on the motor itself. I will prob. have to buy one of the aftermarket set ups but I’m trying to do my due diligence and...
I need to decarb my 70 go force. What product do y’all suggest and what procedure. I have done it plenty on four strokes but never on a 2 stroke will spraying directly in carb intake lean it out to much and cause wear damage?
Low speed side went bad. I think it’s a good idea to change the switch box and the regulator. What do y’all think about the cheaper switch boxes and regulator on Amazon?
I have a force 70hp. Not sure of the year. It has the black stator with a single switch box and 3 separate coils. Went to CDI and diagnosed a bad stator. Does anyone know the part# for this stator and switch box?
