    Leaky bowl gasket

    I have replaced 3 bowl gaskets so far on a 7.5 carb. The rubber gasket seats for a while and then swells up and leaks at same spot. When I take the bowl off the gasket is toast. Any body have a solution ?

    I have a 73' merc 7.5hp and I'm looking for a float bowl gasket only. I don't need the whole rebuild kit just the rubber gasket. It swelled up when I took it off to check it. Anyone know any links. thanks

    portable plastic fuel tank

    I just bought a fuel tank with a plastic threaded elbow on top for quick connect. Do I need to put any sealer on the plastic threaded connection to put the fitting on?

    missfiring with load

    I'm stumped on this ignition problem. I have good spark on both cylinders but when running I have intermittent misfiring especially when motor has been running for a while. Just had carb & fuel pump serviced motor idles fine. Its an older 7.5 merc Whats my next step?
