    OMC 140 engine removal

    Is it possible to pull a omc 140 without pulling the outdrive and the boat still in the water? Its a houseboat and very expensive to take it out of the water. Need to change the rear main seal i believe.

    On Board flush system?

    A buddy was telling me there was a system for raw water cooled engines where you hit a switch just before you shut down the engine and it pumps salt neutralizer through the engine. Is there such a thing? If so does it really work? or is it just better of to invest in a closed cooling system...

    Longer 3" exhaust tubes?

    Is there a source for 3" dia. exhaust tubes longer than 4"? After swapping for a newer mercruiser engine that have slightly taller risers the tube that connects from the riser elbow to the Y pipe on transom is a bit short.

    replacing the trim sensor's on my outdrive and the new ones i received (Quicksilver) are not color coded. So i guess it's a 50/50 chance i get them right.
