    Deck top-coat alternatives to carpet

I installed some cheap 'Depot carpet a few years ago with poor results. It got burnt within the first year, even though it's stored covered (the AZ sun is brutal). We've lived with the dark areas and pillings for the past couple seasons, but now it's time to re-do again. I'm thinking toward a...

Oh no! Prob outdrive issue, but PLEASE let it be an easy fix!!!

First, many thanks to all for the help and support with issues in the past. Unfortunately, this might be a doozy  Launched the '92 Sea Ray bow rider for the first time in about a year. In the months preparing to head out: I replaced the T-stat, impeller, motor and drive oil, rebuilt...

    MercCarb air horn assembly cross-reference

I'm tearing into the carb this weekend to replace the air horn assembly on the 4.3 mercruiser 2bbl. Does anyone know of any stock GM or auto part numbers to reference? I'm hoping to just grab a junk carb off a junkyard and swap the parts I need. The model year is a 92, I'll try to get a carb...

Oops!! Broke post off throttle body...

Swapped out the t-stat last weekend on the 4.3L Mercruiser. Everything went ok until putting the flame arrester and cover back on the throttle body. Somehow, the bracket holding the screw post broke. I hadn't even snugged it, was just that weak. Anyone out there have this happen before...

    Inboard Flush Ideas...

I'm helping a friend get her rig ready for the season, but don't want to put the $35 up for a flush kit for her '02 something inboard wakeboard boat. Does anyone have any tricks to get water to the motor w/o a kit? I know I can always follow the line and try to hook directly into the engine...

    Sea Ray...Sport Fisher?

I'm never going to do this...but the idea is appealing! Over drinks one night we decided that it would be fun to take the boat down to Mexico (Sea of Cortez) and sport fish. I rebuilt the sun deck with removable cushions last year; pop those out and adding rod holders, possibly outriggers...

    Ski Locker Abandoned!?!

'92 Sea Ray 200 BR. No ski locker untill....I pulled the carpet and found plywood glassed over where it is/should be. Why would anyone opt to fill and abandon a ski locker? I can't seem to grasp any logic behind it. After drilling a hole into it, there seems to be some kind of dense foam...

    Easy prop/rpm question

I have a '92 Sea Ray 200, 4.3L Mercruiser, Alpha I, cheapo 14.5 x 17 alumnium prop with some dings/scrapes. Last weekend I was out with an average load: 5ppl, coolers, full fuel. After launch while running, I had to pull back because I was over my WOT by 200+. As the day progressed, we...

    1992 SeaRay ski locker

I have a 'new to me' 1992 Sea Ray bow rider 200. The previous owner did a terrible carpet job, but not too bad that I'm about to rip it out try again...yet! Does anyone out there know if ski lockers were standard on these boats? I believe the area is raised slightly where a locker should be...

    Can't find switches

Like many of you, I keep adding stuff to my '92 Sea Ray 20' bow rider. I can't find any switches in a similar style as the ones already on the boat. I'd like my new accessory switches to match, w/o replacing the stock ones. Any help or ideas on where to find these?

    Stupid Spedo Question.

Hey all, Had a clogged pitot inlet in my '92 Sea Ray. Somehow a piece of wood was stuck in there. Ended up having to drill it out... Here's the boneheaded part...How does one go about getting the broken drillbit out of the hole!?! It's too far in to get anything on it. I tried blowing it out...

    Inverter power supply

I have a '92 Sea Ray 200 that I'm putting an inverter into. Instead of messing with cirucit breakers and running a ton of wire, I plan on switching a starter soleniod from the helm between the batt and the inverter. I will tie the switch wire into the CB panel. Are there any problems with...
