I have a 1981 johnson 140 v4 with power trim/tilt. I have recently replaced seals on one of the lower rams. The unit was working proplery prior to the seal replacement...just leaking at the seal. I am not sure whether i can't seem to get the air out or what, but the unit lifts until the lower...
I have a 1981 V4 140hp and one side of the lower trim cylinder(or ram i suppose) seals is leaking. A: is there a special tool for the 4 holed cap that the ram slides through and B: is there a seal kit for this unit.
