My tilt slowley comes down ,I was told to start trouble shooting by taking the Manual release Valve and check for the bad O rings ,but there is a shim attached to it .How to take this shim out without dameging it? thanks
My 60 HP Merc starts good but even though is warm as soon as put in geer shuts off then is ok for a few minutes but shuts off again?!too much gas or no gas or carb problem,help please. thanks
The trim motor works and lefts up the motor but slowly the motor comes back down ?I did check the oil level was full( some oil spit out)Any body knows

60 hp merc 2 strok(1992) ,I was trying to change the fuel filter ,while I was moving the oil reserv to get at the f. filter the bottom connection of oil reserv. to fuel pump came off,now the ? do I have to bleed it or not ?if yes how?
