Any suggestions? I have no reverse thrust but the prop is definitely turning. Forward is working fine, and prop has just been reworked. It seems to rev very high when in revrse but I have no tach to get concrete numbers. Is this a bottom end problem or could it be in my cables? Any suggestions...
I have a 1976 115 evinrude with a prestolite starter. I need a drive and I have found out the part has been discontinued. Do any other drives work? Or do I have to replace the whole starter with a bosch? Its a 10 tooth drive with a course spiral. I've been told they are hard to find. Any help...
