    Hi everyone...I have a 26' Sou'wester 1986 (parker). It has a 225 Johnson, the deck is going to be replaced, and also new stringers.<br />I want to replace the motor with a straight inboard diesel. Maybe someone has done this and has some tips, Please help....

    1996 Evinrude 48spl

    I have a fuel seperator and the filter started to leak just as i was ready to go fishing so i ran the fuel line directly to the motor. My carbs got fulled with particles of rust and now the motor bogs down, even after i cleaned them. I did replace the fuel filter. Should i change the carbs? Thanks
