    my 1987 35 hp mercury is not charging the battery , is there anything that controls charging other than the rectifier and charging stator, thanks

    tilt trim

    i'm working on a old 15' bass boat , it has a panther model 55 tilt trim unit but no switch and the relays are no good. i was wondering if i got a polarity reversing switch and used heavy wire (12 gauge ?) why i would need relays thanks for any help
