    4.3 gl starter shims????

    I'm going through a starter a year on my 1999 4.3 gl. Trying to problem solve and can't find if this starter needs to be shimmed. If anyone knows would really help.

    Johnson 30 only 1 cylinder fires

    Alright where to start, seems to be alot of problems with this. 1.The lower cylinder dosent fire, i checked the coil, plugs, compression, and plug wires, they are good. This cylinder will fire randomly when i am driving the boat. Ushually for about 3 to 4 seconds then cuts back out, but...
