I have an 18' center console with a 97 90hp johnson outboard. current prop is a 3 blade turning point 13.25x19. The motor only spins up to 4100rpm and about 29mph.
Im looking to try a 15p prop I believe, but im unsure if I can or should change diameter. Does anybody know what the max diameter...
I have a new to me 18ft cc with a 97 johnson 90 J90ELEUA.
It idles and nice will run well for 5-10 minutes and then goes into slow mode. When this happens, the overheat light does not come on.
Initially, since the light did not come on, i did not think it was overheating. It ran great below...
