Is there a way to check the coil on my engine or should I just replace it? I have put a new cap, rotor and plug wires on and wondering if I should replace the coail as well. No way of telling how many years its been on.
I have a Mercury 3.7 Alpha one 165 hp engine. The engine will turn over but will not fire. I can see gass in the carb. Seems to be flooding and if I leave it for a while it may start. This happens every time. The dealer told me I need a new carb.
