    mercury 40 4 cy impeller

    when i run my mercury on the garden hose pipe. the water don't seem to fire out until about 20 seconds. do i need a new impeller fitted? the outboard don't seem to over heat,and if i do need to replace impeller, is it a big job. i do have the manual. :confused:

    hi everyone, i have a mer 40 4 cylinder oil inject 91. the tilt on mine is very hard to lift, its a oil dramper system. the manual don't show the system on my model which is odd? i have just got the engine and its not been in water yet,also the oil warning alarm is sounding off with the on key...
