    Hi, can someone tell me how to adjust the fule mixture screw on a 2000 4 hp 2 stroke johnny? Is it the little red adjustment knob on the side of the engine the tiller is on? It starts, runs fine but troubles to idle, thank you !

    another old johnson

    I have an old johnson, too. from pix it looks like a model KD9.8, the serial # is clearly marked and reads 596594. the number near it, is 27E25 and the last digit is either an 8 or a P ? If I guessed I would say late 40's early 50's but have nothing to base that on. On the cylinder walls it...
