    Yeah, that makes 2 of us. Hey Jerry, can you use a CDI stator with a Prestolite 300-888797trigger 8 wire or does it have to be the 4+1 ground 888788 triggers?

    So I had an issue with no spark and after taking the flywheel off I found metal blades all over and the trigger damaged stator not functional anymore. I have no clue why it is that way, but a few got pulled apart and broke the trigger housing and rendered the stator inoperable.     Do you have an example of these? I do understand diodes, and this would be necessary on my other motor that stays at 16.5v and bridge rectifiers I know from my power supplies repairs.
