I have a '90 Chevy S-10. I cut off the wires at the bumper to convert to flat 4 prong to match the new trailer . Now I have no brake lights on the truck . I'd appreciate any advice .

The "water pressure " switch at the helm station kicks off after about 5 seconds with no reaction from the pump. The pump and wiring look new and properly connected. The 10 gal tank is almost full. Any suggetions ? Thanks.
