I have a yamaha 200hp outboard and the only numbers I can find are 4D-8957 on the mounting bracket and 400473 on the freeze plug. I'm trying to find out the year so I can get the service manual.

I have a merc 300s, Just did a new water pump and fule pump. Took it out started right up ran for about five min got in and started to drive, drove for about 5 min and it stalled out. Motor was every hot. let cool off and ran fine to get back in full throttle and all. Water same to be pumping...
I need to replace the water pump and can't get the catridge out. I don't have the removal tool. Any ideas how to get it out without hurting the theards.
