    Can't Throttle

    When I try to throttle up on my pontoon, it sounds like it is being flooded and then conks out. It idles fine and even runs good at slow speeds, but when I put the hammer down it makes a very low noise and then sputters out. Help!

    I recently bought a cottage with a pontoon boat in the deal. The boat needs a battery. Are all marine batteries the same (12 volt)?
