I have the dreaded neutral safety switch issue so while tinkering with that figured I'd replace the frayed pull cord. Strange I cannot find any mentions of this task on the web!
Anyway, anyone have any tips on this procedure after the the starter housing is pulled off?

Hi there - kind of a continuation of an older post where my motor is not idleing and or getting the boat on plane. Not running past 3k RPM when in gear.
My question is: I have 3 carbs, do all carbs work together into 1 common intake manifold? Or does each carb individually manage 2 cylinders...
1st time out this year and many issues. I know this is all a long shot but I thought I'd throw it out to see what you all think.

Hey gang - I can't find a part number for this switch. Thoughts?
Its off a 1988 Merc 115 straight 6. Its A quicksilver control. The switch just nestles into the top of the throttle arm and a little bezel snaps in on top of it.
I need to replace as the switch is sticking/broken.

The mercury dealer swears that I have the correct part numbered anode on my motor. But doesn't it look too close to the propeller? (yup - correct prop!)
What does everyone think?
Hi there - my manual doesn't show this grease zirc fitting. Anyone ever seen a grease fitting before in this location?
I'd think the gearcase is lubricated with the standard lower unit oil/lube.
If you can confirm this is where its supposed to be, can you tell me what grease to use?
