    Problem With 2008 6HP Nissan 4 Stroke

    I bought this engine new in 2009 and have about 20 hours on it. It has run perfectly until recently. When it's in nuteral the prop continues to turn and sometimes it will not go in reverse. Any help would be appreciated. John

    I'm looking at purchasing a new 6hp 4 stroke motor. In my research I have found most 6hp 4 strokes weigh in at about 55lbs and are 1 cylinder motors.     Motor Size For Jon Boat

    I have an 11ft boat that is kind of like a Jon boat. The bottom flat and the width is 40" the sides are 15". The boat weighs 100lbs and is rated for 700lbs capacity. My question is how heavy can I go with the motor. I'm looking at a 85lb 9.8hp Nissan 4 stroke but is that too heavy? I weigh...
