My Power Trim was working before I winterized-- and just went to start the boat up and tested the trim with no luck -- just hearing multiple click click click noises. The trim is currently all the way up, so it is hard to tell if the UP would work. The down definitely does not...

I have a 9.9HP Outboard Mercury Pro Kicker on my Alumaweld Intruder Sterndrive 2006 -- dual batteries and are fully charged - the main engine and all electrical items work (horn, main engine starts, fishfinders etc...)
THE ISSUE:
Went to start up the kicker from winterization and the...
Engine has trouble idling (starts on Choke no problem), once choke is removed...engine dies within 10-30 seconds.
I cleaned the carb, it seemed to help (I didn't run too long as I'm always concerned of running these motors in buckets of water vs a lake).
THE CONCERN now after cleaning the carb...
