The motor is all there except the sides of the cover. Is there a web site, I can sell this or part it out. Or is it worth the time too mess with. My father-in-law gave it to me. (sell or scrap)
I'm going to go look at a 1969 Mercury 7.5 tiller motor. He said it hasn't been started since 1992 but has been inside. What can I do make sure its worth buying. He wants $100.00
So, I did not fog the motor last year and didn't take the boat out this year. I won't be able to take the boat too the water to fog it,.This year. What else can I do? Can I just fog it by spraying it and turning it over, not being in the water? I have a 1963 Sea King 40 hp
I would like to know if my 1963 Gale 40 hp has electric shift. New to boating, my father-in-law gave me a 16' lund with this motor. And I want to change the gear lube. The lube I got said, not recommended for electric shift lower units.
