Any idea where I can get a replacement bow rail for a 2000 Chris Craft 215 cuddy ("ultra?") ?

My boat (2000 CC 215 Cuddy) is apparently the same boat as the 1998 1999 and 2000 Chris-Craft 210 Ultra Cuddy, so bowrails from any of those...
Cuddy cabin hatch gas springs appear to have no lift/gas left.
Current springs are Attwood SL10- series with "composite socket ends".
If I buy a replacement here on iBoats, how to I get the existing spring off the mounts?
Do I hammer the spring near the socket? pry it out? Or do I have to...
Recently bought the 2000 Chris Craft 215 used, but it didn't come with a key to the cuddy cabin door.
OMC built the boat, not the current owner of the Chris Craft name.
Cuddy door is marked with a sticker "Viplex Entry Systems", which got since was bought out too.
The lock is pretty low...
Buying a boat which had its 9 year old engine replaced this year by a dealer, previous engine overheated and blew. Looks very clean. Told engine is (and was) V-P 5.0gi, 250HP. (Engine in compartment has a big plastic piece on top that says "Volvo Penta 5.0gi".) Boat gorgeous otherwise...
