    1988 water not leaving the prop

    so i purchased a really clean 88 sea ray mid cabin,huge boat for 21'.this is my first mercruiser. no water comes out the prop,but it does come out the bottom of the gimbal housing on the back of the boat?two little holes one on each side.im looking at the manual and it dosnt show anything coming...

    reverse rotating prop will it run the same as a normal rotating prop?

    i have a 1986 sun runner,it has a 270 outdrive,the shifting cable has been put on the opposite side of shift lever and has a reverse prop on it,will it still run the same.torque, speed?of course compared to the same pitch and cup as another to be compared to.

    interchangeable upper gearcase on 275T

    Re: interchangeable upper gearcase on 275T i recieved my ebay upper gear housing,everything seems good ,all the splines match up.:D im measuring to shim it now and my measurements come up with .004+ the .06=.064.thats really thick.their wasnt anything near that on it before. so im looking in...

    i need to replace the upper gearcase on my 87 capri with a 350 penta and 275t outdrive.their is an uppercase for sale on evilbay,he says its a"VOLVO PENTA UPPER UNIT FOR SP, 270, 280, 290",will it interchange?

    penta 275 outdrive dipstick and shaft busted through the cover?

    i took the upper gearcase apart and found a brass washer/spacer thing broke.it goes between the coupler and the upper housing i believe,if i replace that piece,and the cover put all back together will it last?is that piece a normal thing to break?the shaft got pushed up through the cover.it also...
