warm and throttle open, i get 140, 135, 140.. cold i get like 135, 125, 135 or so... fresh rebuild, around 25 hours on the motor so far, ive been building compression as the rings seat but wondering if that middle one will ever come up?
ok i found a place that has teflon sheet that isnt too bad. i need to find a bit longer router bit to copy my impeller. so far i think this is going to work. any sugesstions?
hey i want to ventilate my prop. do i just need a 1/2" drill bit and a dremel to smooth it out? where do i drill into the thing? How many holes are acceptable. lets get it on! I love modifying stuff man!

hey anyone every seen a white residue on the carb bodys and starting to collect on the carb throats? is almost looks like white lithium grease, but it isnt. does gas-oil mix with water to become a white sludge? im running a filter and a water seperator.

had my motor re-ringed, ran my boat around 19 hours or so, and remembered the stoopid head gasket re-tourque. so last weekend i tourqed them all to 18 lbs folliwing the sequence. i almost got 2 turns out of one bolt! this worries me, could anything have happened? have i caught it in time?
