The red button is the kill button. I just installed that to replace the stock push button stop.
So I was correct in saying the orange wire (original wire going to original push stop stop) is the wire I cut and tie into the wiring on the new lanyard switch
Installing a tethered kill cord on my 9.8. Looking to confirm what wire I tie into.
Am I correct in saying I tie into the orange wire with the bolt head crimp that was going to the original push stop and the ground can go to one of those three screw heads shown in the photo ?
I can’t seem to get the neutral/reverse lock working on my OB. Is the ball that’s on the cable that sits in the lock unit supposed to slide in and out of the cable? Or be stuck inside the ball. I’m seeking a small bit of movement in the ball unit when going between fwd and neutral
