    rectifier question

    i have a j0hnson 140 1984 i replaced the rectifier with a johnson part on the instructions it said to connect the yellow gray wire to the yellow gray wire on the terminal but the part i got has two yellow wires and neither of thrm have a gray wire what should i do

    #2 cylinder melted

    took it out sunday and was running great mixed oil 50 to 1 and running across lake lost power and died got it home and found # 2 cyl locked up wondering why it would not be getting any lube to that cyl and is it more to replace/repair power head or get a uesd motor
