i have a 1971 merc outboard 80 hp. took it out yesterday, and when i was coming in, may have tried to put it into reverse to quickly, slipped right past neutral, and reverse and stayed in drive. now i cant seem to get it out of drive. push the lever forward(throttles in drive) pull the lever...
