    Trim and tilt UPDATE still need help...

    Here is the deal, I drained all the oil out of my trim pump, disconnected the lines and pushed fresh oil thru the hoses, reconnected everything and now the trim goes up and down, but you can grab the outdrive and lift up and down, just like it is on a spring, the lines were bled, Any ideas on...

    I am wondering if anyone can tell me what type of connector is needed to hold the shift cable from the helm in place as the shifter is moved, the whole cable just moves in and out and barely pulls the lower shift cable to engage the out drive. It is the portion that is highlighted. Thanks
