    why not to use old fuel?

    hello all,(why not to use old fuel.)i have a 74 evinrude 6hp. i asked about this, and was told to get rid of my petrol out the tank from last year. <br />which i did. but when i was on the river some said it would of been alright. true or false?

    hello all, i have not used my 6hp fisherman since last year, it has been in the garage, covered up. last time i took it out it ran great,(thanks to you guys.) is there any basic checks i should do before taking it out on the river. i have some old fuel in the tank from last year as well. any tips ?
