    no spark for the sportjet 90

    kill switch is disconected at the motor.(blk/yel wire)new battery,new starter.tried to disconnect rev limiter but is hard wired. also disconnected harness and tried to jump off celonoid.when i pulled the plugs they WERE serverly fouled,so i replaced them . p.s im learning the proper etiqutte to...

    SPORTJET90 NO SPARK

    NEW PLUGS NEW BATTERY NEW STARTER. NO SPARK!<br />BOAT RAN FINE LAST NIGHT. THIS MORNING WONT START, AND NO SPARK.

    1996 SPORTJET 90

    MOTOR NOT STARTING. NEW PLUGS, BATTERY, STARTER. MOTOR RAN LAST NIGHT FINE. TODAY, NO SPARK! I BYPASSED HARNESS , AND JUMPED CELONOID, WITH NO RESULT. HAVE GAS ,COMPRESSION, NO SPARK.<br />NUETRAL IGNITION SWITCH?

    MERCURY SPORTJET 90- 1996

    HAVING PROBLEMS STARTING. NEW PLUGS,STARTER,BATTERY. NO SPARK. MOTOR RAN ALL DAY YESTERDAY WITH NO PROBLEMS.SAT OVER NIGHT ,AND NOW WILL NOT START.I BYPASSED THE HARNESS AND TRIED TO JUMP OFF THE CELONOID,WITH NO SUCCESS.
