Thanks to everyone for the input, jerryjerry05 was correct i did infact have it wired wrong. Got it taken care of and she's back to running like a dream.
This is the one I replaced my old one with (both pictured) I bet that is exactly my problem. So in theory I think then if that is the case I can still use that solenoid just only use three terminals? (Thats what the packaging said would be a possibility) or am I wrong?
I have a 99 force 75 hp. Thing was running like a dream then out of no where I blew a fuse, no biggie right? So I put in a new fuse and blew it again. (Did this 5 or 6 times). So I got a new key ignition (I needed a new one anyway) didn't fix the problem. Ran voltage tests all over and was good...
