Just polished pontoons to a mirror finish they were beutiful been out about 8 times a few over nighters. Pontoons again are turning blackish with a rainbow hue to them. I know I can sealthem with sharkhide etc. but I don't mind polishing as its not that hard to maintain them,

I have a 2004 Lowe suncruiser pontoon. On the helm ( outside of drivers console ) I have a oval shaped speaker or horn looking thing its not a speaker has 2 wires going to it wires have been pulled out? ?? Not sure what this is just bought the boat......Does anyone know what this is? It is black...

Do they make 3rd log for a 16 foot pontoon?
Water glide is about 10 foot long seems that might be great for performance or may make boat to bouyant and motor cavitate.

OK so question is my 16 foot 1999 pontoon is rated for 50 hp motor. I see the 2 strokes weigh much less then the four stroke So if I put a 50 hp 4 stroke on it will it be to heavy for the boat?

Top speed GPS 12.4 mph 2 adults plus two trolling batterys and fishing gear 6 gals of fuel no wind smooth water.
If passenger sits up front boat picks up speed if we both walk up front seems to pick...
