I have an 1989 50 horse force outboard. I recently changed water pump and have gotten it started and the water exiting the tell tale is rather warm to the touch and the head is also warm to the touch. I havent got my warming horn working yet and havent had motor out of idle.

I have a 50 force outboard. i am currently replacing the head gasket and i separated the head to clean the water jacket. Is the water supposed to flow around the entire head? If so i probably have some holed that are sealed off with corrosion.

i have recently bought i used starter for my 50 horsepower force motor. after installing the starter it will not turn over my soloined will click and the starter will turn over when hooked up to a battery. not sure what to check next
