The transom has a bit of a wave and am afraid hat it’s going to have a slow leak once the Volvo DP-c transom shield is mounted. What are my options besides caulking the crap out of it? Some sort of backing plate on the inside of transom?

I just pulled the heads off my newly acquired boat with a 2003 5.7 GI-C. Valves were sticky. Risers were leaking slightly. I am curious if anyone has installed the Mercruiser Dry Joint style manifolds and risers on their Volvo with success.
Just picked up a boat with a 5.7GI-C engine that was installed in 2003 and a duo prop outdrive that is original to the boat (1993) the tag on the upper drive is too corroded to read. Just want to figure out what duo prop outdrive a will fit my application.
