Thanks. I see in the manual that the diagram version with Trim Motor does not show the manual reverse lock anywhere, but does on the diagram for the version I have (which originally didn’t have a trim motor). So I believe you are right it is not needed now….I’ll disconnect it. Awesome thank you!
I just added an OEM Tilt Motor to my ‘91 70hp Bayliner Force boat that did not have it. Do i need any fuses in-line to the switches or to the battery positive along the wires from tilt motor. I do have two relays being used. I also wired positive to the hot side of starter solenoid in engine...
I just added a OEM Tilt motor to my 1991 Force outboard 70 hp. There is a Reverse lock with connecting wire on the underside of motor, I am thinking because there originally was not Trim motor there. Now the trim motor piston is right in the same area where that reverse lock wire is...
