    Trouble removing the starter motor on a 1984 Johnson 115hp

    I'm having trouble removing the bolt holding the starter to the block behind the carbs. I've backed it out until it seems to be hitting the plastic cover behind the carbs, but it's still not loose enough to remove? Any tips or advice is appreciated.
