Oh I think I did decide that it’s an oil/fuel mixture that was coming out of the 90, not only oil. It was just oily and because the fuel was evaporating and I was only left with oil laying in the air silencer, I just figured it was only oil.
I sure appreciate how much digging y’all have done. Strangely enough, these replacement parts always look like they have a stainless mounting bracket to fix it to the pump, but mine doesn’t have any mounting bracket holing it on, and doesn’t have anywhere to screw in the bracket were I to...
Eh you may be thinking of a different part. The oil line very clearly hooks in directly below this 90. And the fuel line hooks in higher. For any oil to meet with the fuel it would basically HAVE to come through that 90.
Call me a cheater (for now) there seemed to be some kind of silicone peaking out from the bottom of that 90, so I just put a hose clamp around it for now. I turned the engine over a few times and it didn’t leak a single drop of oil. It’ll be a totally fine patch for just right now. I’m still...
