I'm thinking just hook them up to the starter solenoid as that's where they technically drew power from before? Via a jumper from starting solenoid to tilt solenoids.
I've got 1995 75hp 2 stroke. SN 0g1xxxx. Has solenoid tilt control. I pulled those, and replaced with relay system from a 2001 75hp.
So far all good. But I have 2 extra wires I need help identifying and where they go in the new setup.
2 red wires were connected to the lower solenoid headed...

Bought this engine for $30. Replaced the points and condensers. Rebuilt the carb. Installed new plugs. Runs great and seemed good in the bucket but upon running in the lake I discovered this. Still only into it $80 so I've got some wiggle room on the gearcase to get it tip...
I've got a 1965 Sportwin 9.5hp.
It jumps out of gear at about half revs or 4-5 mph. At first I thought clutch dog but the prop shaft slides for and aft approximately ⅛ inch. Much more than in my 68 model.
That got me thinking that perhaps I've got a worn bushing, bearing, or seal that's...
My overheat alarm is squelching while running and when not running but having key in the on position. Trying to figure out the cause. Here's what I've noticed.
1. Tell tale squirts water at all times. Same temp, figured by feel of hand, as intake water.
