    Key left on all winter while batteries hooked to trickle charger. Any damage?

    Can you cause any damage to a 1991 90hp Mrec. By forgetting to turn off the key at the end of last season. The batteries have been on a trickle charger. This is my brothers boat. He noticed the alarm/buzzer making noise while starting to prep it for Spring. Thanks for any input you might have.

    Mark25 carb adjustment

    Does anyone know a good starting point for adjusting a 1956 Mercury Mark 25, AJ 50 A carb. Idle and high speed? I'm starting a motor I have never seen run before. I have changed the coils, points, wires and plugs. Also replaced the carburetor float and cleaned it up.

    Looking for the part # for the 1/8" Prop backing washer. I can find the part # for the 1/32" washer but unable to find the 1/8" Can anyone help me.

    When I took my prop off to send out for repairs I didn't pay attention to the order of the Spacer washer and tab washer. Can anyone tell me what order they go in? Are there any spacers missing? Thanks Bob

    What size fuel line came on a 1956 Mark 25? I need to replace quick change connectors ( connector hose connector) from the motor to the tank. Motor has a male bayonet connector and the tank has a Female bayonet connector. While looking at the connectors online I see there are 1/4" and 5/16"...

    What is the Gas/Oil ratio for a 1956 Mark 25 using TC-W3 motor oil? I'm seeing 50:1 but that seem a bit much compared to my 54 Johnson at 25:1. ???

    What is the point setting on a 1956 Mark 25? I believe I remember 20 thousand but that's 50 years ago.

    1956 Mark 25 Coil replacement.

    1956 Mark 25 Coil replacement. Is there a trick to removing an old coil from its Stator. Is there a small tab that holds the coil in place on the Stator? The coils in this motor might be OEM and aren't budging or I'm doing something wrong. Can someone share a page from a service manual?.

    What works as a point cam lube. I don't have point lube nowadays and most part stores don't carry it. Is there something that will work just as well as the old point lube? Thanks Bob

    When reinstalling the crank on my 1954 QD15 10hp. I have new upper and lower bearings carbon seals and the 4 O-rings (2 large 2 smaller). My question is where do the O-Rings go? There is what appears to be an O-Ring grove on the bearings. Do the big O-Rings go there? And do the smaller O-Rings...

    I'm trying to find out what year my Mercury Mark 25 is. Is there a list somewhere? My serial # 1001363. the case is a Blue color.
