    1978 6hp evinrude no idle

    I have a new carb, new spark plugs, water pump, points and condenser. The motor has been cleaned up, de carbed and all that fun stuff. The problem is it still wont idle down. If I go from WOT to idle it shuts off, then is a real pain to start again. what else should I be looking at? fuel pump?

    trolling motor mount

    I have a 14ft 1966 alumacraft, I got a transom mount trolling motor from my father in law, but find that its tough to keep the boat going in a straight line with it mounted back there. is there a preferable way to mount it on the bow? I tried searching, but I guess I dont know the right key...

    shift linkage disconnecting

    I took the powerhead off to take off the lower unit, after putting it all back together, and reconnecting the shift linkage, I noticed that no matter how tight I make it, it will always disconnect on shifting forward or reverse. this is a 1968 evinrude 6hp. any ideas? thanks!
