    1999 Mariner 25 hp water pump

    Is it normal for a 25 Mariner to put out water intermittently from the spray tube located at the Rt, rear of the engine. I thought it would continue to put out a small stream to let you know it is working, This one will spew then quit, going on and off quite often.Is this just the thermostat...
