Please help, I am trying to remove the timing gear cover so that I can change out the front oil seal on the crankshaft.
Because this is a really tight bolt in the end of the crankshaft, I am having a lot of trouble getting it loose.
I think the rule is that nuts are normal thread for a clockwise...

This went a lot better than I thought but wow, lifting it off the block nearly bust my boiler!
I had a loss of pressure on No 3 and thought it was the head gasket.
I have turned the cylinder head upside down for cleaning, and poured fuel...
