Good day. I am curious on 2 things...first being how do I know if the mix ratio is correct...and second...when my engine is tilted all the way up for period of time there's a bit of oil dripping out of the carb covers. Any reason why
I run boat in drive way and I got an overheat alarm. Work fine last time out. The boat is relatively new to me so I don't know the maintenance it's had. Thermostats and poppet valve are changed. I dropped lower unit and this is what I found
L250 txrs....701799....61b...ul is the numbers...I'm also going to change impeller...is there anything else in the cooling system I should change while I'm at it
Curious on were the poppet valve is or if this engine has one. I fired boat up to flush it after a day out without incident and after about 5 min the temp alarm sounded so I.killed they key...there is tell tale water...I plan to replace thermostats any ways . Thanks
Ok so the remote tank is empty and the main tank at engine is full...when alarm went off the arrow moved over from the full icon to the oil symble on my gauge
So i was going down river moving from one fishing spot to another and my oil alarm went off...so I shut engine down..my main resivour is empty but my tank at engine is full. My question is this....can I use main engine to get back to dock
