Interesting, thanks for the info on the aftermarket aspect. Does this make any difference when purchasing parts? This makes a lot of sense as the paint condition on the drive was like new which did confuse me.

First post and after some help, I have a 1999 Bayliner Ciera 2355 with a mercruiser 4.6 V6 EFI with what I believed was a Barvo 2 Sterndrive. It seems after some research into replacing the Serpentine Belt that I actually have a Alpha 1 Gen II.
The Serial Number of the Engine is 0L316021...
