    prop shaft play question?

    How much play should be in a prop shaft? I have a slight bit of play in the shaft and notice a very little vibration when the props on and engine in gear! Is that common or not common. ITs an older merc1 outdrive but runs great! thanks guys?

    merc one....no power in prop, but shifts into gear! HELP!

    While at the lake at about 20mph it felt like the prop fell off! Trimmed the unit up and the prop was still there but wont spin. It goes into gear just wont spin! Is this lower unit or maybe engine coupler or clutch.....PLEASE HELP!
