Can’t seem to find the lower engine cover rubber seal for this Johnson 40 super Seahorse
Model # RD-25
I thought I had found some on marineengine.com but they aren’t in stock.
I also wondered if it was one piece or two??
I read some about winterizing a boat but blowing out water lines didn’t seem to jell with the 63’ super seahorse 40hp. Just got it running a couple days ago and the weather turned extremely cold last night... worried about the engine
its been awhile since I’ve posted but I do believe the seahorse is ready for a try at running for the first time in about 4 years. If anyone has input for me on trying to get it started I’d appreciate it. I’m not even sure how much water to put in this trash can! Or carb settings so please help

Wondering the right oil weight and i had seen on another post someone had said not to remove the bottom phillips screw on a manual...but thats the only one other than oil level and it says drain. Basically that post confused me help and tips pls
My motor title says 1961, my tag with serial# (2361031) and model# (RDS-25D) dont seem to match up with the year when im trying to look up info and parts... The model# above for 40hp always brings me to 1963. Please help me know what i have so i can get this motor running!
